I am a passionate leader who cares deeply about people and their development. My professional career has been enhanced and blessed by quality leaders who have invested in my development, and I feel that it is my responsibility to do the same for others. I lead by example, and work hard to create a good experience for my team. I believe that a good leader gives team members autonomy to make decisions, and room to grow.

Lead Campus Rep

After only a year in the Apple Campus Representative program, I was asked to be one of the first Lead Campus Representatives. This was an incredible experience, and I learned a lot about leadership and working with and inspiring a team. Some of the highlights of my experience are listed below.

  • Collaborated with Campus Rep program leadership to create and execute marketing strategies at 60 nationwide higher education institutions.
  • Built and supported a program reporting tool to track hours and efficiency that resulted in quantitative data to understand program impact.
  • Mentored and trained a team of 14 Reps to execute unique, innovative projects specific to their campuses. Two mentees progressed to be leads.
  • Collaborated with a team of project managers, developers and designers to create a complex customer facing application that will be used to increase sales to the education market.

Board of Directors

On November 14th, 2015 Jason Alan Harmon, my brother, was killed in a car accident leaving behind his wife, three children, and one more on the way. Since that time, my family has created a non-profit foundation in his name.

I've been blessed to sit on the board of directors of the non-profit. In this role, I've participated in the decision making process of the foundation.

Leader and Trainer

During a two year mission in Peru, I led a team of volunteer representatives. I conducted weekly training meetings and motivated team members to meet key indicators and goals. During this time, I learned a lot about what it means to be a leader. I worked really hard to lead by example, and create good rapport with my team members. In the end, I probably learned as much from them as they did from me.

State Secretary/Treasurer

I was elected to be the Wyoming FCCLA Secretary/Treasurer from 2011-2012. During my time in this position, I:

  • Worked with the statewide leadership team in planning and coordinating Fall Conference and State Convention
  • Composed meeting agendas and minutes
  • Managed the finances and budget
