Tech Enthusiast

I have always been avidly interested in technology. I designed my first website when I was 16, and since then, web design has become a hobby and profitable side hustle. I worked as an Apple Campus Representative for 3 years, and as an IT professional. I especially appreciate technology that is well designed and simple to use. I’m particularly interested in the intersection between technology and the humanities.

Developer/Programer

I have a minor from Brigham Young University in computer science. I like to play around with development and code. I am proficient in the following languages/technologies.

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Javascript
  • C++
  • Java
  • Swift
  • Xcode
  • Git
  • Automation and Workflows

IT Director

I've worked at Redi as first, the Assistant IT Director, and then the IT Director. Redi is an industrial services company, and in my role, I was responsible for deploying and managing computer software and hardware. I also researched business processes and work with different teams to make sure things are running smoothly. Some major projects I completed were

  • Reengineering the application and onboarding process, saving over 50% of administrative task time for each new hire. Estimated to save over 1,000 hours/year
  • Deploying a new company-wide VoIP phone system to 8 regional offices streamlining office and cross-office communication

Apple Fan

My love for Apple and Apple products started when my family bought our first iMac when I was in high school. I immediately fell in love with the design, software, and experience of using a Mac. Since then, my fandom has grown exponentially. I appreciate the seamless experience that Apple provides customers, and feel that Apple is an exemplary company. In college, I worked for Apple as a Campus Rep, and I fell in love with the company even more. I follow the company and its products closely.
